Sacramento Area Commerce & Trade Organization
SACTO provides resources for companies looking to locate and/or expand in the Region. Their services include conducting site searches, hosting tours, and connecting businesses with the region’s key decision-makers (financial, legal, government, regulatory and real estate professionals). In 2010, SACTO assisted 16 clean tech companies locate and expand in the Region.
Sacramento Area Regional Technology Alliance
SARTA supports development-stage technology companies in the Sacramento Region. The organization offers startup resources and programs, and service around mentorship, funding, and networking. SARTA hosts an annual Sacramento CleanTech Showcase, which highlights the Region’s clean tech innovators, investors, educators, and companies.
Sacramento Employment and Training Agency
SETA and Sacramento Works provide employment services to existing clean tech companies. Support includes job posting services, customized recruiting events, and skills assessments for candidates. The agency also connects businesses with tax credits and currently offers on-the-job training reimbursement in partnership with the North State Building Industry Association.
Sacramento Metropolitan Chamber of Commerce
The Metro Chamber assists both startup and existing businesses in the Sacramento Metropolitan Area. The Chamber helps make connections to financing, contracting, and procurement opportunities; economic development and business groups; and local support organizations
